Easton, MA seeks a highly motivated, skilled professional to lead its Planning Department. The Director is responsible for implementing Easton's Master Plan; overseeing short and long term land use planning; and advancing community development strategies supporting smart growth and sustainable development.  

The director provides strategic guidance and technical assistance to land use, housing and preservation boards and committees; manages complex land use issues, development review processes and planning initiatives; supervises department staff; prepares and manages department budget, sets strategic goals, pursues grant funding and acts as liaison to businesses, developers and government agencies.  Evening meetings and occasional fieldwork required.
