APA RI Programs Events
APA RI offers many educational, networking, skill-building, and social events throughout the year, as well as participating annually in the Southern New England Conference of the American Planning Association (SNEAPA) in the fall. See below for upcoming events.
Chapter Events- 2026
The APA-RI Executive Board meets virtually every third Friday of the month (except for July and December). All are welcome to attend! Our next meeting is Thursday, June 18, 2026 and will be held from 4:00PM via Teams. Email aparhodeisland at gmail dot com for the link.
Our next APA-RI Legislative Committee meeting will be held virtually on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 9:30AM via Zoom.
June 25, 2026- Game Changer! Tidewater Landing: What Goes into a Public Private Partnership (P3) Project? Learn about the planning, environmental remediation, permitting, TOD, TIF, and what’s a PLOM?? "Behind the scenes” stadium tour and a drink is included in this fun APA-RI event. Location: Centreville Bank Stadium, Pawtucket. Time: 4PM-6P.

Save the date for the 2026 APA-RI Summer Social! We'll be meeting friends and colleagues at Narragansett Brewery in India Point Park on Thursday, September 10 from 5:30P-8:30P. Tickets will go on sale soon, so check back.
