We are seeking a skilled and motivated Land Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development and management of land use projects, ensuring compliance with zoning regulations and environmental laws. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and project management skills to effectively contribute to urban planning initiatives.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies to gather requirements for land use projects.
• Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Sketchup to create detailed land use plans and visualizations.
• Conduct site assessments and analyze environmental impacts in accordance with relevant environmental laws.
• Draft project proposals, reports, and documentation necessary for project approval processes.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
• Prepare presentations to communicate planning concepts and project updates to clients and community members.
• Stay informed about current trends in urban planning and land development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Sketchup, and other relevant planning software.
• Strong understanding of GIS principles and experience with ArcView is preferred.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies to effectively oversee project timelines and deliverables.
• Familiarity with environmental law as it pertains to land use planning is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in drafting plans and reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
