Postings run for twenty-one days or until the application deadline, whichever occurs first. All RFPs/RFQs are posted here and in our weekly e-newsletter, which is sent to our 150+ members.

RFP: Filling the Gaps Mission-Compatible Missing Middle Housing in the Submarine Capital of the World- Groton, CT
This project’s goal is to explore the potential of Missing Middle Housing to meet current and expected housing need in Groton in the context of a community that hosts a nationally and internationally significant military installation. Qualified firms or teams of firms should have a solid track record of developing actionable local housing plans that meet identified needs in such a way that garners community support. As such, the preferred consultant or team of consultants will be one that has extensive experience collaborating with municipal governments, leveraging varied, proven and burgeoning public engagement strategies tailored to the community, and developing recommendations that reflect community needs and preferences.

Sealed proposals will be received by the Office of Planning and Development Services until 2P.M. on March 24, 2025.

RFP – Comprehensive Zoning Regulation Update – New Canaan, CT

The Town of New Canaan is seeking the services of a qualified professional planning consulting firm to assist in the comprehensive review and update of the Town’s Zoning Regulations. The Town’s Zoning Regulations were last comprehensively updated through a multi-year process that concluded in 2007. Despite this effort, some sections of the regulations have remained largely unchanged for decades, necessitating the update.
