APA RI offers many educational, networking, skill-building, and social events throughout the year, as well as participating annually in the Southern New England Conference of the American Planning Association (SNEAPA) in the fall. See below for upcoming events.

"Neighborhood Defenders" Lunch & Learn: June 4 at 12PM
Join the APA-RI EDI Committee for a discussion with the authors of the book Neighborhood Defenders: Participatory Politics and America’s Housing Crisis, which chronicles neighborhood participation in housing permitting processes and how this process can limit the housing supply and contribute to the affordable housing crisis.
Location: Cranston Public Library, 140 Sockanosset Cross Rd.
Time: 12PM-1:30PM. Fee: Free for APA-RI members, $5 for others.
1 CM credit is available.
